Lawrence Chatmon Little (Born November 2, 1945, in Groveland, Georgia) is a former guard in American college and professional football. He played collegiately at Bethune-Cookman College. Little began his professional career with the American Football League's San Diego Chargers in 1967 and 1968, and was traded to the AFL's Miami Dolphins for the 1969 season. He then played with the NFL Dolphins from 1970 through 1980. He was 6-1 and weighed 265 pounds.
Little was a key contributor to the success of the Dolphin's punishing running attack of the early and mid 1970's, which featured Larry Csonka, Mercury Morris, and Jim Kiick.
In 1999, he was ranked number 79 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players.
Little's younger brother, David Little, was a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In 1992 he became head coach of the Ohio Glory of the WLAF.
