Lee Adams

Lee Adams (born August 14, 1924) is an American lyricist best known for his collaboration with Charles Strouse in the musical theatre.
Born in Mansfield, Ohio, Adams received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ohio State University and a Master's from Columbia University.
Adams won Tony Awards in 1961 for Bye Bye Birdie and in 1970 for Applause. In addition, he wrote the lyrics for Golden Boy, It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman, and Bring Back Birdie, and the book and lyrics for Ain't Broadway Grand.
Adams is an inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Lee Adams
Lee was born in Derby, England, and has spent many of his years in education. Now with a BA Hons. degree in Business Studies, Lee works in sales.
Lee started his singing career at a US summer camp called Trail's End Camp, where the upper cavaliers of 2005 saw the creation of hits such as Penguin, Chicken, and Sit on my porch.
Lee performed for the uppers various times in the cabins, and finally the highlight of the summer came as Lee stole the stage in Lee-Aide, rounding off a great set with Sit on my porch.
Following the success of the summer, Lee released his debut album Noises of Ecstasy, which was well received and had many musical highlights such as, attack of the Epstiens.
2006 saw Lee come out of musical retirement to reclaim his thrown as the premier source of entertainment at Trail's End camp. This time with the Lower Cavaliers, Lee took the whole of campus by storm, and produced some of his most thought provoking music yet.
Lee finally put on a show for Trail's End at the much hyped 'Lee Adams Experience'.
On April 2nd 2007 Lee released his second album, Secrets of A Farmer which is available to buy now, from his website
