Lee Cook (born 3 August 1982 in Hammersmith) is a footballer who plays in midfield for Queens Park Rangers in the Championship.

Cook began his career at non-league Aylesbury United F.C. where he made 19 appearances, scoring twice, having progressed from the club's youth team. Having caught the eye of watching scouts, Cook moved onto Watford F.C. in 1999 after impressing in a trial period. During his five year spell at Watford he played in the FA Premiership and the Championship, making 64 appearances and scoring 7 goals. He developed as a set piece specialist at Watford, his trusted left-foot often in charge of corners, direct free kicks and indirect free kicks, creating a great deal of goals for the team.

In 2002, Cook spent two months on loan at York City F.C., making seven appearances and scoring once. He made a loan move to Queens Park Rangers in December 2002 scoring once during 13 starts at Loftus Road. Cook made no secret of his love for Queens Park Rangers, having supported the club as a boy and it was no surprise when he elected to leave Watford at the end of his contract in July 2004 after Queens Park Rangers showed an interest. As Cook was under the age of 24 when he moved, and the two clubs failed to agree a fee, it went to a tribunal where Queens Park Rangers were ordered to pay a fee of £125,000 to Watford.

Cook's QPR debut came against Watford at Vicarage Road 9 August 2004 as a second half substitute. Cook played poorly and was jeered throughout by the Watford crowd, where he still remains a figure of hate, and QPR lost the game 3-0.

Since his permanent switch to QPR Cook has played 102 times scoring 6 goals (correct up to December 1, 2006). Last season QPR narrowly avoided relegation, finishing 21st.

Cook has been continually linked to one of a number of Premiership clubs in 2006/7, thanks to some excellent performances on the left wing. He is contracted at Loftus Road until 2009 however, and club chairman Gianni Paladini has stated he refuses to allow Lee Cook to be sold for "under £10 million."
