Legacy Trust

Legacy Trust UK Limited has been selected as the preferred candidate to establish a new charitable Trust to support a diverse range of cultural and sporting initiatives throughout the UK, associated with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. If the bid is successful, the Trust will be endowed with £40 million of National Lottery and Government funds.

Legacy Trust UK Limited is a Company Limited by Guarantee founded by a consortium of five organisations:

  • The City of London
  • Business in the Community
  • East London Business Alliance
  • TimeBank
  • Yorkshire Forward

Board members and the chair are yet to be announced.

Legacy Trust UK Limited is not soliciting grant applications at this stage and is expected to start work in 2007.
