Leigh Montagna (born November 2, 1983) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.

He was recruited as the number 37 draft pick in the 2001 AFL Draft from Balwyn. He made his debut for St. Kilda in Round 6, 2002 against Collingwood.

In 2006 Montagna kicked the last goal by any side in the contorversial match against Fremantle. This brought St. Kilda to within a solitary point of their rivals.

Shortly after the Saints' pre-season grand final win over Geelong, Montagna and teammate Stephen Milne were involved in a sex scandal which rocked the Saints. But true to form, the AFL players escaped without any real serious charge, and a swifty clean-up (cover-up?) was performed.[[1]] The club's then major sponsor, Mortgage House, was called on to control the off-field behaviour of some Saints players.
