Len Carlson

Len Carlson (September 2, 1937January 26, 2006) was a Canadian voice actor on many animated television series from the 1960s onward, and was also a Kraft Canada TV pitchman during the 1970s and 1980s. He was the voice of Bert Raccoon in The Raccoons, Professor Coldheart in the early Care Bears specials and episodes, and Rocket Robin Hood. He was also the voice of Allo and Quackpot on the TV series, Dinosaucers.

In the 1980s, the 1990s, and the 2000s, Carlson has appeared on other TV shows to his credit appearing on Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Dinosaucers, The Legend of Zelda, George Shrinks, the animated version of Police Academy, The Neverending Story, Birdz, Flying Rhino Junior High, Medabots, both cartoon series of ALF, Swamp Thing, RoboCop, Captain N: The Game Master, X-Men and WildC.A.T.S..

In his last years, Carlson was a regular on Nelvana-produced shows such as Rolie Polie Olie, Cyberchase, Pecola, Donkey Kong Country and Beyblade. Most recently, he appeared in the French-Canadian co-production Atomic Betty.

He was also involved in the video game Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.

Carlson died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 68 on January 26, 2006.
