Liam James Rosenior (born July 9, 1984) is an English professional footballer currently playing for Fulham Football Club in London, England. He is a promising right back who competes for a place in the side with Moritz Volz. He is the son of ex-Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior, and has spent time on loan at Torquay United, where his father was manager, during their most recent promotion season (2003-2004).

He started his career with Bristol City as a promising midfielder. Arguably his best moment came when he scored the winner in a 2-1 victory for Bristol City against Carlisle United in the 2003 LDV Vans Trophy Final at the Cardiff Millenium Stadium. This would prove to be his last appearance for City as Fulham soon snapped him up.

In 2006 Liam confessed to a newspaper that he was unsettled at Bristol City as he was being bullied.[citation needed]

Last season he became popular amongst Fulham fans due to his Afro hairstyle. During a match against Manchester City Rosenior made a seemingly impossible goal line clearance while the score was at 1-1 (Fulham went on to win the game 2-1 with Steed Malbranque scoring in the last minute). Rosenior later told reporters that he was able to clear the ball in that manner due to his Afro hairstyle.

He signed a four-year extension to his Fulham contract in July 2006.

'Fulham defender Liam Rosenior has revealed that unlike most other 22-year-old Premiership players, he prefers playing Scrabble and drinking cocoa to a night out clubbing. (Daily Mail)' - from the BBC sports website 25 November 2006
