Life in Cartoon Motion is the debut album by Lebanon-born singer Mika, produced and mixed by Greg Wells, released on Island Records on February 5, 2007 in the UK, and on UniversalMotown Records on March 27, 2007 in the US. It has received generally mixed reviews, earning one star from The Guardian[1] and four stars in the London Evening Standard.[2]
The album received 1/10 from the Drowned in Sound website[3], which prompted Brian May of Queen, a fan of Mika, to criticise the website.[4][5]
There has been speculation by some critics that the name of the release may have derived from David Gray's 2005 album entitled Life in Slow Motion.[6]
