Lisa Marx

Lisa Marx is a guitarist and keyboardist from Seattle. She was born on August 21, 1981.

Marx is the co-founder and former member of the Seattle hardcore band To See You Broken.

She replaced Fallon Bowman (left August 2001) in the alternative metal group Kittie in 2004. Marx left the band as of February 2005. Kittie has replaced her with Tara McLeod.

She then joined Scars of Tomorrow on a temporary basis for their tour in December 2005.

Afterwards, she then joined The Dear and Departed in early 2006 as their guitarist/keyboardist. However, she left soon thereafter due to creative differences.

  • Lisa is a vegan and straight edge.
  • She likes to listen to metalcore and hardcore music.
  • She had a labret stud under her lower lip, but has recently replaced it for a ring on the left side of her lip. She also has her earlobes stretched.
  • In January 2006, she was featured in Revolver Magazine as one of the sexiest women in metal.
  • As of 2007, Lisa is dating Brent Ashley, bassist of Los Angeles rock band The Dreaming (band) - USA (which features Christopher Hall of Stabbing Westward fame as vocalist).
