List of American stock exchanges
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a list of American stock exchanges. The list is arranged geographically from north to south:
For reference, exchanges in South America and Central America use the word "Bolsa", meaning "bag" or "purse" in the Spanish language and Portuguese language.
The Americas have at least one major regional stock exchange, the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange, known as ECSE, which serves Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The service area of the ECSE corresponds to the service area of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, with which it is associated.
