This is a list of records in the FIA World Championships, since 1950. Bold entries indicate the record-holder is still competing in Formula One.
This page is accurate up to and including the 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix (Oct 22, 2006).

A driver is considered to be "entered" into a race if they attempt to compete in at least one official practice session with the intent of entering the race. These drivers are noted on the "entry list" for that race. A driver is considered to have started a race if they line-up on the grid for the start of a race – if a race is stopped and re-started, only the final start of the race is counted.

Drivers competing in the Indianapolis 500 during these years were credited with participation in a World Championship race and the top five placegetters were credited with World Championship points.
