Following is a list of speakers of the Parliament of Turkey. The name of the parliament of the Republic of Turkey, originally Grand National Assembly of Turkey (Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi) since its establishment in 1920, changed in its history several times after military interventions in the politics.

A senate existed also besides the National Assembly, however only between the two coup d'états after 1960 and before 1980.

In the event of a temporary absence of the President of the Republic of Turkey on account of illness, travel abroad or similar circumstances, the speaker of the parliament serves as acting president, and exercises the powers of the president until the president resumes his functions, and in the event that the presidency falls vacant as a result of death or resignation or for any other reason, until the election of a new president.
