The following is an episode list for the Fox animated television series The Simpsons. The series premiered on December 17, 1989 and completed its 18th season. The 19th season is currently airing and further seasons are possible.[1][2]
As of December 16, 2007, 409 episodes of The Simpsons have aired.
Currently, the first ten seasons are available on DVD, in Region 1, 2 and 4. A feature-length movie, The Simpsons Movie, was released on July 27, 2007. The series is a spin-off of The Tracey Ullman Show, in which the titular family appeared in animated short films.
