Only one date, November 2, has the birthday of more than one President (Harding and Polk), though separated by seventy years. The month with the most Presidential birthdays – six – is October. The record for the least Presidential birthdays is one, shared by June and September. Every single month has had at least one President born in it since George H. W. Bush (born June 12, 1924, making June the 12th month) assumed the Presidency in 1989.
- 8 Presidents were born in Virginia
- 7 were born in Ohio
- 4 were born in both New York and Massachusetts
- 2 were born in North Carolina, Vermont, and Texas
- Thirteen other states each had one Presidential birth SC, PA, NH, KY, NJ, IA, MO, IL, CA, NE, GA, CT, & AR.
- Every decade since the 1730s and before the 1950s, with the exception of the 1810s and the 1930s, has produced a President.
- More Presidents have been born in the month of October (six) than any other month.
- Five Presidents were born during the astrological signs of Aquarius and Scorpio.
- Jimmy Carter is the only President born on the first of a month; no Presidents have been born on the last day of a month.
- The only President born during open hostilities in wartime was John F. Kennedy, born just after American entry into World War I. Martin Van Buren was born during the American Revolution, but after hostilities had ended.
- Britain and her then colonies adopted the Gregorian (New Style) calendar in 1752, replacing the Julian (Old Style) calendar. The first four Presidents were born when the Julian calendar was still in use. The birthdates shown above for these Presidents have been converted to the equivalent dates in the Gregorian calendar.
