• Although listed alphabetically, some of the same acts have appeared at No.1 under different names. For example, 'Cliff Richard' had 7 no.1's, 'Cliff Richard and The Drifters' had 1 no.1, 'Cliff Richard and the Shadows' had 6 no.1's and 'The Shadows' had 5 no.1's.
