Live Here Now is a London-based music concert recording and distribution company, started in 2004.
Recording artists partner with Live Here Now to digitally record live concert dates and in turn Live Here Now manufactures and distributes professionally-packaged, limited edition compact discs of the recorded show to buyers who purchase them via their website. Live Here Now also provides concert recordings as MP3 digital downloads. Concerts can be available for fans to purchase 5 minutes after a performance has concluded.
Live Here Now has so far partnered with Throbbing Gristle, Mylo, Heaven 17, Ocean Colour Scene, Goldfrapp and Client. Erasure used Live Here Now's services in 2005 for The Erasure Show tour and CDs were sold at concert venues. In addition Erasure and Live Here Now released Acoustic Live from a concert appearance the band performed in April 2006.
Depeche Mode used Live Here Now on their Playing the Angel tour in 2006, calling the project Recording the Angel, and Ocean Colour Scene partnered with them in December 2006 [1]. According to Side-Line Magazine the company is a Mute Records company and the magazine also wrote that there might be plans to release a 'best of' the tour later on this year by Live Here Now.
