- It is a common misconception that in "Solitary Shell", at 2:13, Mike Portnoy plays the intro of U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday," where in fact he does not.
- Budokan and Once In A Livetime are the only Dream Theater live albums not to include the song "Metropolis Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper" in full. However, excerpts of it are played during "Instrumedley."
- Some overdubs have been made as you can see John Myung making a mistake at the multiangle version of "Instrumedley" at around 3:15.
