Lord Edmund Blackadder V

Edmund, Lord Blackadder is the modern day descendant of fictional character Edmund Blackadder in the Blackadder TV series. He is the central character of Blackadder: Back & Forth. He is played by Rowan Atkinson.

Although as time goes on Blackadder's social standing tends to go down, this Lord Blackadder is similar to Lord Blackadder of Blackadder II and Mr. E. Blackadder of Blackadder the Third (if you count the waning power of modern British lords) in both standing and wit. As a result, much of the acid tongued wit of Captain Blackadder is toned down. He manages to match wits with Robin Hood and William Shakespeare and comes out on top in both cases.
