She was actress Mary Pickford and actor/director Jack Pickford's sister. Her mother, Charlotte Smith, also had acting credits. Pickford wed actor Allan Forrest on January 7, 1922.

She died in 1936 and was interred at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Glendale, California, USA.
