Love Train

Love Train was a 1973 hit record for the The O'Jays. It hit #1 on both the R&B and Billboard popular music charts. Love Train was written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. It is The O'Jays' first and only #1 record to reach the top of the U.S. charts. The song mentions a number of countries, including England, Russia, China, Egypt and Israel, as well as the continent of Africa.

Coors Light used this song for commercials during NFL games because of Coor's sponsorship with the NFL.
This song was also with a commercial promoting Super Bowl XL.
In an episode of King of the Hill, Dale Gribble formed a "love train" in a role-skating alley when Love Train came on.
It was played in the end credits roll in the third Final Destination film and resung by Tommy Lee.
Was parodied on episode 593 of Saturday Night Live (December 10, 2005, host Alec Baldwin) with the lyrics altered to pertain to prescription drugs (encouraging the elderly to "get on the drug train"), for a fictional Medicare advertisement (sung by Jason Sudeikis).
