A ship by this name brought William Dodge along with the Sprague family, and others to Salem in 1629.
The Lyon's Whelp left Gravesend 24 Apr 1629, arrived in Salem mid July 1629, Master John Gibbs/Gibbon. One of six ships; the others being the Talbot, George Bonaventure, Lyon, and not the original but a second ship called The Mayflower. [1] The Sprague family database
