Lyudmila Ivanovna Shevtsova (Russian: Людмила Ивановна Шевцова) (born November 26, 1934) is a Soviet athlete who competed mainly in the 800 metres. She trained at VSS Avanhard in Dnepropetrovsk.

On July 3, 1960 in Moscow she set the World Record in the discipline at 2 min 04.3 sec.[1] She equalled her world record while winning the 800 metre gold for USSR in the 1960 Summer Olympics held in Rome, Italy two months later.

Shevtsova was awarded Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1960).
