MTV VJ Hunt

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The MTV VJ Hunt is a search conducted by certain MTV channels in Asia for their respective channels' newest VJs.

The MTV VJ Hunt in the Philippines is held every 2 years, and has produced notable and long lasting VJs like KC Montero and Belinda Panelo. The most recent VJ Hunt was held in 2005. Instead of choosing the standard 2 winners, for the first time 4 winners were picked. One winner, Nicole Fonacier is the first ever so-called "plus sized VJ", and another winner, Colby Miller is the first Philippine VJ Hunt winner to be hired by MTV Asia and be subsequently moved to Singapore.
