Maartin Allcock

Maartin Allcock (born 5 January 1957 in Middleton, Rochdale, Lancashire, England) is a multi-instrumentalist.

After an apprenticeship in folkclubs and dancebands, he ran away to join the Bully Wee Band, a Celtic folk group, which led on to an 11-year stint with electric folk legends Fairport Convention, four years with rock band Jethro Tull and a session career which has included around 200 albums. Currently he is with Swarb's Lazarus (Dave Swarbrick, Kevin Dempsey, and Maartin Allcock.)
