Mabinay, Negros Oriental

Mabinay is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 64,451 people in 13,357 households.
In Mabinay Spring, admission is free. Go swimming in the huge, ever-gushing spring in a park setting in Mabinay proper about a 3 to 5-minute tricycle, jeepney or a bus ride from the town proper.
Mabinay is politically subdivided into 32 barangays.
