Madeleine de Valois, (St. Germain-en-Laye, France August 10, 1520July 7, 1537 at Edinburgh, Scotland) was a princess of France and Queen consort of King James V of Scotland.

Princess Madeleine was the fifth child and third daughter of King François I of France and Claude de France, daughter of Louis XII of France. She was married to King James on January 1, 1537 at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France.

The young princess suffered from tuberculosis and lived for only a few months after her marriage, dying at the age of sixteen.

Queen Madeleine was interred in Holyrood Abbey in Edinburgh.
