Manadhoo (Dhivehi: މަނަދޫ) is the capital of Noonu Atoll in the Maldives.
The island of Manadhoo measuring approx 92.20 hectors, which has a very natural harbor surrounded by natural seawalls and the island lies the south east end of the atoll. According to formation of the atoll, the island lies in the position which is most convenient and accessible for the other inhabited islands.
Since the Island is the capital of the Noonu atoll and the 3rd largest population of the atoll and most of the government offices have been establish, the major available land is uninhabited. Main livelihood of the population depends on construction carpentry work civil service, tourism, fishing and private business.
The Atoll office, Island office, District court, Atoll Development Committee (ADC) Guest House, ADC Pharmacy, NADP office, Noonu Atoll School, Noou Atoll Hospital, and upcoming Atoll Media Center contributes the infrastructure of the island.
