Manosque (Provençal Occitan: Manòsca in classical norm or Manosco in Mistralian norm) is a town a commune of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence département, in southeastern France.
Manosque was the birthplace of author Jean Giono (1895-1970) and composer Adolphe Blanc (1828–1885).
