Marilyn Cooper

Marilyn Cooper (born December 14, 1936) is a Tony Award-winning American actress known primarily for her work on the Broadway stage.

Born in New York City, Cooper made her Broadway debut in 1956 in Mr. Wonderful. She first made an impact on theatergoers when she replaced Jane Connell as Agnes Gooch in the original 1966 production of Mame, and became a darling of the critics with her performance in Woman of the Year (1981), for which she won both the Tony and Drama Desk Award as Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

Cooper's television credits include guest appearances on Kate and Allie, Cheers, Law and Order, The Nanny, and Caroline in the City.
