Mark Buckingham

Mark Buckingham is an English comic book artist.

Born in Clevedon, he debuted on Tyranny Rex by John Smith, but his work was cut short by a payment dispute with the publishers of 2000AD.

He is most famous for his work on Marvelman (Miracleman, in the USA), Hellblazer, and Fables, including a story in the original graphic novel 1001 Nights of Snowfall. He also inked Chris Bachalo's pencils on Generation X, Ghost Rider 2099 and the two Death miniseries.

He was married in Spain in August 2006 and his best man was Neil Gaiman, as described in Googling things mostly. Retrieved on August 14, 2006.
