Martin Retov (born May 5, 1980) is a Danish professional football player, who currently plays as a central midfielder for Brøndby IF in the Danish Superliga championship. He has played one game for the Denmark national football team.

He started his career in the youth teams of Danish clubs Rishøj IF and Køge Boldklub, before he made his debut for Køge in the second-tier Danish 1st Division league in 1999. He was called up for the Danish under-21 national team in 2001, which he represented in three matches, coming on as a substitute in all three games. In 2002, Køge earned promotion to the top-flight 2002-03 Superliga season, but following only one Superliga match for the club he was injured in late July. While still recovering, he was bought by the defending Danish champions Brøndby IF.

He was one of the first signings of new Brøndby IF coach Michael Laudrup, who played Retov in a centre midfield duo with Morten Wieghorst. Retov quickly became a mainstay in the Brøndby team, and following a successful 2003-04 season, he debuted for the Danish national team, when he came on as a late substitute, replacing Morten Wieghorst against Scotland in a friendly match 1-0 win on 28 April 2004. Subsequently, he was voted Brøndby's 2004 Player of the Year. In the 2004-05 season, Retov only missed a single Superliga match, as Brøndby won its 10th championship, and he took part in the 2005 Danish Cup victory, to complete Brøndby's the Double triumph.
