Masjid Jamek refers to a collection of two rapid transit stations named after and situated near Jamek Mosque (Malay: Masjid Jamek) in central Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The station is intended as an interchange between two separated stations: One serving a common Ampang Line (formerly known as STAR, and the Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines) route shared by both the Ampang-Sentul Timur line and Sri Petaling-Sentul Timur line, and another serving the Kelana Jaya Line (formerly known as PUTRA). The Ampang Line station is elevated, while Kelana Jaya Line station is underground.

Opened on December 16, 1996 as part of the first phase of the then STAR system (Phase 1), the Ampang Line station was constructed directly above a bridge along Jalan Tun Perak (Malay to English: Tun Perak Road) that crosses the Klang River shortly before the Klang River-Gombak River confluence: Its elevated tracks and side platforms are suspended above Jalan Tun Perak, while the ticketing concourses are located over the Klang River, at street level.

The station, similar to surface-level stations from the Chan Sow Lin-Ampang line, has one ticketing concourse for each of the two platforms. The two concourses and their exits are located on both sides of Jalan Tun Perak, and are not integrated with each other. The northern concourse and platform is designated for trains bound for either the Ampang and Sri Petaling stations, while the southern concourse and platform are designated for trains bound for the Sentul Timur station at the northern end of the line.

The second Masjid Jamek rapid transit station was opened on June 1, 1999 as part of the second phase of the Kelana Jaya Line (known as Section 2).

The Kelana Jaya Line station, like other stations along the subway strecth of the Kelana Jaya Line, is an underground rapid transit station that consists of a single island platform (separated from the tracks by platform screen doors) connected to a single ticketing concourse via stairways, escalators and an elevator.

The main entrance of the Kelana Jaya Line station is situated directly north of the Ampang Line station, exiting into Jalan Melaka (Malacca Street), and Jalan Melayu (Malay Street) via a footbridge over the Klang River. A secondary access point is located south from the Ampang Line station on the other side of Jalan Tun Perak, connected to the station's ticketing concourse via a long underground tunnel that passes underneath Jalan Tun Perak. Both exits are located east from the Klang River.

The Masjid Jamek Ampang Line and Kelana Jaya Line stations are intended to form a major interchange between two rapid transit lines in the city's public transport system. Both stations include access to ticketing concourses from both sides of Jalan Tun Perak, and are comparatively closer to each other than other less integrated interchanges (the Dang Wangi Kelana Jaya Line station with the Bukit Nanas Monorail station, and the Bank Negara Komuter station with the Bandaraya Ampang Line station, for examples), but still lacks proper shelter between stations as the Bandar Tasik Selatan and Titiwangsa stations have.

A new project to link the Ampang Line with the Kelana Jaya Line has been initiated to ease transfers between the lines.^[1]
