Mathew Knowles is an American record executive and manager. He is the father and manager of R&B star Beyoncé Knowles and her sister Solange Knowles, and is best known as the manager of his daughters and of the female R&B group Destiny's Child. He is married to Tina Knowles.
Knowles is an alumnus of Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, and he is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He founded and operates the Music World Entertainment record label imprint, which releases music by artists such as Destiny's Child, Beyoncé, Solange, Kelly Rowland, and others.
He and his family are members of St. John's Methodist Church, Houston, Texas.[1][2]
