Matt W. Windschitl is the Iowa State Representative from the 56th District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2007. He is serving as a Switchman/Brakeman with the Union Pacific Railroad.
Windschitl currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Transportation committee; the Veterans Affairs committee; and the Ways and Means committee. He also serves on the Transportation, Infrastructure, and Capitals Appropriations Subcommittee.
Windschitl was elected in 2006 with 4,993 votes, defeating Democratic opponent Nancy Bleth. [1]
