Mauricio Vincello (born August 19, 1977 in Salto, Argentina) is an Argentine football defender, who plays for the Montreal Impact.
Vincello kicked off his career in his native country with Defensores de Salto. In 2000 Vincello was signed by the Toronto Lynx. With the Lynx Mauricio became a star in the Lynx defence helping them reach the playoffs in 2000, he played all 28 games for the Lynx that season. In 2001 Vincello was named Lynx Defensive Player of the Year, after playing for the Lynx for 4 years Vincello was traded to rivals the Montreal Impact in exchange for young defender Andres Arango.
In 2004 he helped the Impact play 12 straight games without a loss (8-0-4), a club record at the time, and go on to win the League Championship where Vincello scored the winning goal against the Seattle Sounders in 2-0 victory, as well Vincello was named MVP.
In 2005 Vincello helped the Impact win the regular-season title in 2005 and to a 15-game undefeated streak (10-0-5), a new league record, but the Impact lost in the playoffs to Seattle Sounders.
