Mauro Damián Rosales (born February 24, 1981 in Villa María) is an Argentine football player who is currently linked to Argentine power-house River Plate. Rosales was part of the gold medal winning Argentine national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

River Plate is waiting the approval of Ajax and the FIFA to make this transfer official. Rosales was transfered for 1.8 Million Euros making it River's 6th incorporation (after Ojeda, Ruben, Villagra, Ponzio and Rivas) with an overall value of 13 Million dollars in transfers.[citation needed]
