Mayetta is a city in Jackson County, Kansas, United States. The population was 325 at the 2000 census.

Mayetta is located at 39°20′20″N, 95°43′19″W (39.338776, -95.721943)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 312 people, 111 households, and 75 families residing in the city. The population density was 708.6/km² (1,888.7/mi²). There were 121 housing units at an average density of 274.8/km² (732.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 80.77% White, 14.10% Native American, 0.32% from other races, and 4.81% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.96% of the population.
