Metrobus is a public transportation system in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The system is the only publicly operated transit system of its kind in Newfoundland & Labrador. Operations are overseen by a committee known as The St. John's Transportation Commission, which consists of six members from various areas of the community.
The Metrobus system offers 18 routes. Routes travel around the Metro St. John's area including such regions as Kilbride, Goulds, and Mount Pearl. The service hours vary with each route. Routes are operating from Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 12:30am, Saturday 6:00am to 12:30am, and Sunday from 8:00am to 9:00pm. The transit System has been in place since 1958.
