Michael McIndoe (born 2 December 1979 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish professional footballer who is currently playing as a midfielder for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Michael started his professional career at Luton Town making his debut in 1998. He played 39 games for the Hatters before signing on a free transfer to Hereford United in 2000.
In 2001 he signed for Yeovil Town making 91 appearances scoring 22 league goals before signing for Doncaster in 2003 where he played 122 games scoring 28 goals, including a memorable penalty against Premiership Arsenal in the Carling Cup. McIndoe wanted to play at a higher level, and signed for Championship side Derby on loan in the second half of the 2005-2006 season, before signing for the newly promoted Barnsley for £125,000 in the pre-season of the 2006-2007 season. He netted the first goal in Barnsley's win against Hull City in August 2006.
McIndoe activated a clause in his contract allowing to move elsewhere if he wished. He moved on loan to Wolves in autumn 2006 and moved permanently on 1 January 2007 for £250,000.[1]
