Michel'le

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Michel'le Toussaint (born 1970) is an R&B vocalist. She is known for her squeaky, child-like speaking voice which is a startling contrast to her strong vocals. The singer was originally signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Records. In 1989, she released Michel'le. Her self-titled debut album was entirely produced by then boyfriend Dr. Dre. The album contained "No More Lies" and the hit singles "Nicety" and "Something in My Heart." Michel'le sold 1.5 million copies.

Following Dre's departure from Death Row, Michel'le broke up with Dre and began a new relationship with Suge Knight. Michel'le has a child with Dr. Dre, Marcel and Curtis, and at least three kids with Suge Knight. It's unknown how many they have. They are currently married. Michel'le is still a part of the Death Row Roster. Her most recent music was a contribution to the Dysfunktional Family soundtrack in 2003. She has since confirmed through several media outlets that she's been working on new material, and a third effort is scheduled for a 2007 release.
