Microsoft Money is Microsoft's personal finance software for computers using the Microsoft Windows operating system. A version is also available for Windows Mobile (available for Money versions 2000-2006, and up to, but not including Windows Mobile 5.0). The latest version, released in July 2006, is called Microsoft Money 2007 and has four editions: Essentials, Deluxe, Premium and Home & Business.
There are versions for the U.S., UK, France, Japan, Canada and an International English edition for other English speaking countries. However, Microsoft has announced that it will not release 2006 editions for the UK, French and International markets. These editions have not been updated since Money 2005. The company has said that it is unlikely to release a version until 2008 [1]. The last Canadian version was Money 2006.
In the past, there have been versions for other countries, such as Germany and Italy, but these were discontinued due to what was believed to be an insufficient user base to justify the expense of localization for more recent versions.
