Mid Bedfordshire is a local government district in Bedfordshire, England. The council has its offices in Priory House in Chicksands; a new building, built in 2006. Formerly, it had offices in Ampthill and Biggleswade.

It was formed on April 1, 1974 by the merger of Ampthill, Biggleswade and Sandy urban districts along with Biggleswade Rural District and Ampthill Rural District.

In the House of Commons the borough of Mid Bedfordshire falls in part into the Mid Bedfordshire constituency, and in part into the North East Bedfordshire constituency. Both constituencies also include several rural parishes of the Borough of Bedford.
