Mid Suffolk is a local government district in Suffolk, England. Its council is based in Needham Market.

The district was formed on April 1, 1974 by the merger of the Borough of Eye, Stowmarket urban district, Gipping Rural District, Hartismere Rural District and Thedwastre Rural District.

In May 2006, a report commissioned by British Gas [1] showed that housing in Mid Suffolk produced the 15th highest average carbon emissions in the country at 7,130 kg of carbon dioxide per dwelling.
