Mike Williams (born 27 October 1986 in Colwyn Bay), is a Welsh footballer currently playing for Coca-Cola League Two side Wrexham.
He is a solid defender who was born in Wrexham and has risen up their youth ranks to become an established player among their back four, aged 19. He is also the older brother of Marc Williams who plays striker for Wrexham. Both the brothers had a couple of appearances during the middle of the 2006/07 season together. He currently plays for Wales U-21's, also alongside his younger brother.
One of his more recent performances was against Barnet which Wrexham won 2-1 away with Lee McEvilly scoring twice. Another performance was against Shrewsbury Town which, unfortunately Wrexham lost 3-1, but he still gave a solid performance not allowing Derek Asamoah any space to breathe. He also had a very good game against Mansfield Town where the result was 0-0 and, more recently against fellow strugglers Macclesfield Town which resulted in a 2-0 victory for the Silkmen.
