Mirza


  • The title Mirza(ميرزا), from Persian/ Kurdish languages during the Moghul Emperor times of India, means, literally, a Prince.

The name is today in use mainly in the South Asian sub-continent, although the diaspora is wide and stretches across the world. When prefixed to a last name it is a title of honor, but when annexed to the last name it means a prince of blood royal.
