Miss Teen International is an international beauty pageant that brings about 20-30 young women representing their country in order to win the crown of Miss Teen International. The contestants are largely from Latin America, although in some years countries from other regions have been represented. The current titleholder from Mexico, Jenny Quiroga, was crowned Miss Teen International 2007 on February 10, 2007 in Lima, Peru. In 2006 the first english contestant was represented, the winner of the reality show ASBO Teen to Beauty Queen was sent to the pageant under the guidence of former beautyqueen and tv host Michelle Fryatt.
