Mistral Air

Mistral Air is a scheduled and charter cargo airline based in Rome in Italy. It provides scheduled cargo services on behalf of TNT Global Express and the Italian Post. It also undertakes flight training. Its main base is Ciampino Airport, Rome.

Mistral Air was established in 1981 by Bud Spencer and started operations in 1984. Today it is 100% owned by Poste Italiane.

The Mistral Air fleet includes the following aircraft (at February 2007):

The airline is acquiring ten Boeing 737-300QC aircraft to be based at Milan, Palermo and Rome. They will fly charter services by day and freight and mail flights at night. 2 planes service will be selled by Air Partner. 1 plane service will be sold by Blue Panorama Airlines.
