Mogalthur or Mogalturru is a village and mandal in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Mogaltur is located at .[1] It has an average elevation of 1 meter (6 feet)
- It is about 10 kilometers from Narasapur.
- Mogalthur is best known for an ancient Zamindari and a mud fort. The Mogaltur Dynasty expands to West Godavari and parts of Krishna District. The biggest of the ten forts which has survived the ravages of time is the Mogaltur Fort. The former rulers of Mogaltur state are the Kalidindi clan. Son of the last king of Mogaltur Sri Raja Kalidindi Kumar Vekateshwara Raja Bahadur is 97 years old. The family of the erstwhile kingdom are still living in Mogaltur Fort. The most prominent among them are Sri Raja Kalidindi Devi Prasad Varaha Venkat Surya Narayan Kumar Laxmikant Raja Bajadur and Sri Raja Kalidindi Kumar Rama Raja Bahadur.
- It is known for the coir industry.
- Mogalthur is also known as Mogaltur. One of the older names is Ketaki Puram.
- This village is more famously identified as the birth place of telugu movie actor Chiranjeevi. Another famous person that was born in this village is actor turned Member of parliament, Krishnam Raju.
