Mollem National Park

Mollem National Park is a national park in the Goa state of India. It covers 107 km²., and has been notified as a National Park since 1978. It forms the core zone of the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.

Some of the animals spotted in this national park include [1]: Gaur, leopards, chital, mouse deer, barking deer, wild boar, Indian porcupine, wild dogs, leopard cat, sambar deer, bonnet macaque, common langur, jungle cat, civet, flying squirrels, Malabar giant squirrel, pangolin, and the slender loris. Poisonous snakes such as king cobras, pythons, kraits, and vipers are found here. About 200 species of birds are also found here, including the Indian black woodpecker, the Malabar pied hornbill, Paradise flycatcher, Fairy bluebird, drongo, wagtail, barbet, Great Indian hornbill, kingfishers, shrikes, emerald doves, and the grey jungle fowl.
