The film is about a couple who are due to be married, when the bride is gunned down 3 days after she and her fiancé call off the wedding. It follows her fiancé and parents as they cope with her death and try to get themselves back on track. It also briefly follows the trial of her murderer. However, it especially deals with the relationship between her parents and her fiancé, as well as his growing relationship with a woman he meets just after the funeral.
